All prices are in GB pounds (£) and exclude postage and packing. If this is not your usual currency, the exchange rate to your local currency will be determined by your credit card company.

International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country. HME does not collect duties and taxes, and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. For more information regarding custom policies, please contact your local customs office.
Prices displayed apply to online purchases only – they do not necessarily apply to other methods of mail-order or to purchases from the shop. In the event that we have made an error in our pricing, or can no longer supply at the price quoted, we reserve the right to decline any order placed. In the event of a misprice we will contact you immediately, and if payment has been taken, issue a refund.
If the item(s) you order are listed as in stock, we will normally send your order within 1 business day. Orders received before 2pm will normally be sent the same day.
If for reasons beyond our control we are unable to meet our dispatch targets we will keep you informed of delays by email. Our website indicates whether we are out of stock. Occasionally there may be an error in our stock figures, or you may order more items than we have in stock. In this case we will notify you. If your order is not available for immediate shipment we will let you know via e-mail. We will also give you an approximate delivery date and the option to cancel if you wish at which point you will receive a full refund. All cancellations must be received within 7 days of the order being placed, unless the ordered items take longer than advised by e-mail.
Orders with multiple items will normally be shipped when all items are ready for despatch. If you would like us to part-ship any available items sooner, please email us at email@example.com and we will happily do this at no extra cost.
All normal UK and Channel Islands orders are shipped by First or Second Class post as selected at the time of ordering. At our discretion, large or expensive items may be sent ‘Special Delivery’ or by Courier. This is done at no extra cost. Should you have certain specific delivery requests (such as guaranteed delivery time) you can organise this by contacting a shop directly, additional charges may be incurred.
International orders are usually shipped Airmail. We may sometimes divide large orders into separate packages in order to keep costs down and speed up delivery times. At our discretion large or expensive items may be shipped by courier.
All policies regarding orders and returns are in accordance with current UK consumer legislation.
We reserve the right to decline any order placed. Your confirmation email indicates that we have received your order and is not a firm contract between us. This term is included to protect us in the event that a mistake has been made in our pricing or we can no longer supply at the price quoted.
In the event that you no longer require your order you may return it to us within 30 days of dispatch. We will refund you for the full order but you will be responsible for return postage costs.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil all or part of your order, we will notify you by e-mail and refund the full amount charged.
In the event that a product is received in unsatisfactory condition a full refund will be given. The product must be returned to us but we will refund the cost of the return.
Replacement for items lost by delivery services will be handled on an individual basis. If an item has not been received after a reasonable time* we will replace it at our cost. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further information. *In the case of goods sent First or Second Class Post, 10 working days must have passed since the point of dispatch, in line with Royal Mail standards. All deliveries sent by courier can be tracked; should your delivery be lost we will send a replacement after 5 working days.
In the case of wanting to return all or part of an order you must return the goods in the original condition and in suitably protective packaging. Reeds and similar items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, unless they are returned unopened in their original packaging.
If the goods are faulty or the wrong item has been supplied, then contact us within 7 days and we will cover the expense of the return.
All instruments carry at least a one year manufacturers’ warranty. We honour all guarantees in the same way as if they were purchased in our shops. If you have any problems, or need advice or assistance, just e-mail or phone us.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Gift vouchers, as yet, cannot be used on the website, but orders can be placed and settled in this way in store, over the phone, or via e-mail. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
